In minor cases, it can be solved by changing a box of unleaded gasoline, but in most cases, it will invade its interior and eventually lead to the replacement of parts. To sum up, the service life of oxygen sensor can be improved by using high-quality fuel and lubricating oil, selecting and installing rubber gasket correctly during repair.

Carbon deposits are formed on the surface of the oxygen sensor or sediments enter the oxygen sensor inside: this will prevent or block the external air from entering the oxygen sensor, making the output signal of the oxygen sensor inaccurate. In this case, it is necessary to remove the carbon deposits and sediments entering the inside.
